"Native Carousel" was inspired from the Endangered Species Carousel at the Kansas City Zoo. Growing up, I always loved that special attention was paid to the art surrounding the endangered animals to also depict endangered species. I took that into account with this Native Species Carousel by making sure that the flowers and bugs surrounding the native animals were also native to Missouri.
Originally painted on 12''x18'' watercolor paper with black ink, watercolors, and white acrylic accents
Prints are made to order in my house, packaged with clear plastic, and sent out from Kansas City, MO.
